South African sprinter Akani Simbine is reaching peak form ahead of the Olympic Games in Tokyo as he obliterated the field in a 100m event at the Gyulai Istvan Memorial meet in Hungary on Tuesday.

 

Simbine sprinted home in a new South African record of 9.84 seconds and beat the African record of 9.85.
